DocMedia Entertainment recording artiste Fyakin has been enjoying excellent rotation of his new video, Dem Nuh Real, on the major cable stations and television. But it is his latest release, Ah Me She Want, which is getting some hardcore spins from DJ Wayne and creating a major buzz in reggae and dancehall circles."I really love the feedback I've been getting from the video Dem Nuh Real so far, the theme of betrayal and deception is a common experience for a lot of people, nuff people no real, dem only ah pretend until you see their true colours," the singer who was born Nicholas Levy, said. "But mi feel say ah the Me She Want that have the people dem gigi right now, crazy people ah ask bout it."
The single is also blowing up on FM radio and more disc jockeys are throwing their support behind the single.
The artiste will be doing some aggressive radio and press promotions in Florida during June. He will also be appearing on a show on August 1st in Mandeville.
Once signed to Fifth Element Records, Fyakin has since moved on, scoring a major international hit with My Lady two years ago.while he was signed to Fearless Records. Now, he has inked a deal with the St. Ann-based DocMedia Entertainment, and he is once again on the verge of major recording success with a new single called
Dem No Real.
"DocMac is going to take my music to the world," he said.
Fyakin has performed at a number of stage shows include Blazay
Blazay, Kulcha Shock, Calabar Career Day, Gaynestead Career Day, the annual Garverymeade Barbecue, the Village Cafe, the annual Stone Love Anniversary dance, and the Cooyah launch in Annotto Bay.
"I'm working hard towards really getting my music out in Europe so
that I can appear on some of those big reggae festivals," he said.
